This is a super short post just to fill a gap I found in the Google.

While researching the Zoom M3 MicTrak microphone recorder, I noticed that many reviews pointed out that the included shock mount is bad at absorbing shocks – and badly designed, as it restricts access to the batteries.

As such I wanted to replace the shock mount, but neither Zoom or the internet had any info on the diameter of the microphone tube. Which is just shy of 23 mm as per my caliper. According to Gemini, that is 0.9055 inches or approximately 29/32″, for those who prefer fractions to sanity.

There you have it.
